I caught this on Lavender Harmony's tumblr, and was inspired to do one of my own. Just finished it. She said you took, what was it... 5-10 minutes on each one? Dang... I wish I was that fast. I just have to ask though, what kind of brushes do you use when sketching things like this? How do you get your lines to look so soft and flow so smoothly? I'm assuming these were tablet drawn. Did you use SAI, or Photoshop?

Cause the brushwork here is just beautiful... the kind of lines I wish I could make.

i used Sai, but i sometimes use photoshop too. I just use a standard circular brush with pressure set to density and size with a grey colour. simple. And i work back into the rough lines with a rubber to make it smoother.

Forgive me for pestering... but I'm not familiar with the term 'rubber'... or at least when I hear it it's... being used in a vastly different context. Do you simply mean the eraser tool?

I call the eraser, a rubber, maybe its cos i'm british, but i just prefer calling it a rubber.
